Joy Chior - The Rock Slinger and His Greatest Hit

In April the Joy Choir presented The Rock Slinger and His Greatest Hit to the Sunday school children, residents of Lake Ridge Care Center, residents of Park View Care Center, and last but not least, the congregation. The choir kids worked very hard and did an excellent job. The musical was directed by Pam Freer. Carol Clark was our fabulous accompanist. One of the highlights was the giant puppet Goliath! He was a joint effort between Pam Freer, Steve Svoboda and Beth Svoboda. Collin did a great job as he was the one who had to wear it!

I would like to thank everyone for the wonderful placque and flowers I received for directing the Joy Choir for the last ten years. The placque says “Life is not made up of years but of memorable moments. Thanks for the memories.” I have to say I have a million awesome memories and have enjoyed directing the choir immensely. The musicals have been a great creative outlet for me. I have enjoyed all the different groups of kids over the years. I will miss it very much. Thanks again! Pam Freer
